I'll start today with modern take on stained glass - from the Basílica de la Virgen del Camino outside of León. The current church is from 1961 (and surprisingly tasteful for something built in the 60s!) It is built on the site where a shepherd is said to have witnessed an image of the Virgin in 1505.

The stained glass pictured above is at the back of the church - a surprising and powerful image when you turn to leave.
Aside from that, the walk today was mostly following a highway out of the city, so uninspiring at the macro level - but still many bits of color that my have inspired the art of stained glass long ago...
